WHAT ARE POP-ON NAILS: Nails that give you a non-damaging, perfect manicure instantly for a fraction of the time and money spent in salons. Each nail set is limited edition, can be removed, reapplied and customized unless otherwise stated in the item description.
IN EACH KIT: 24 of our award-winning pop-on nails (in 12 sizes per hand, this means you’ll have 14 back up nails), file, buffer, Static Nails’ Non-Damaging Glue, and instructions.
WILL THEY FIT ME? Static nails fit everyone from a 13-year-old to a drag queen, so the odds are pretty strong, and we feel confident fit is nothing you have to worry about. Static Nails can be filed (if needed) to accustom more petite nail beds. They file like butter only taking a few seconds to transform. If you have wider nail beds and are worried if they’ll fit, please email [email protected] a clear photo of your hand laying flat to receive an answer (Subject: Will nails fit?).
HOW TO APPLY:
1. Select the correct sizes by aligning the Static nail with the sides of your natural nail. If the Static nail is too small some of your natural nail will show. Choosing a smaller size is perfectly fine as long as it’s comfortable. If the Static Nail is too big it will go past the sides of your natural nail bed. Reshape sides if needed (rarely necessary).
2. Select wear time. Examples:
1-2 days: Apply a thin strip of glue from your cuticle to tip (bring glue + nails with in case of emergency since you want the nails to come off fast and easy).
5-7 days: Apply a pea-sized dot of glue about this big ( ) to each natural nail (adjust for pinkie). Spread around, don’t get too close to the skin as the glue will disperse when pressure is applied.
7-18 days: Follow five-seven day wear instructions. Apply a little extra glue to the back of the Static nail.
3. Let glue tack up for 6 seconds then align the Static nail slightly under your cuticle at about 45-degree angle. Using your thumb, press the Static nail down very firmly. The more pressure the better. Ensure pressure is being applied to the entire nail. Hold for 25 seconds, the longer the better. – Done
It’s recommended to apply Static nails to clean, bare natural nails. Static nails can be applied over gels and acrylics, however, this will double the wear time and make removal difficult.
HOW TO REAPPLY: Apply the nails how you normally would, but always add a dot glue to the back of the Static nail when reapplying, even for short wear applications. No maintenance is required in-between uses.
REMOVAL: The nails will not come off alone in water (even if you’re a hair stylist), however, we highly recommend soaking them in the hottest water you can comfortably stand for a few minutes prior to removal. This helps soften both the Static nail and your natural nail making removal easier and safer. Alternating between each side of the Static nail, gently lift. The nail will literally “pop-off” when light pressure is applied if ready.
You can also use a backup Static nail to pop the nails off. This can help un-bond any areas still stuck together. See instructions for suggested removal time based on your glue-application. Ex: A pea-sized dot of glue will keep the nails on for 5-7 days, therefore we recommend waiting to remove the nails after they’ve been on for at least 4 days (as stated in instructions). You can remove the nails at any time if needed. Removal is easy, fast, and painless. Simply store your nails away to reapply later. Again, never force remove, which could cause very minor, fixable damage.
WILL THESE DAMAGE? No, unlike drugstore products, our specially formulated glue bonds like an acrylic, but basically dissolves as you wear it so there is no damage or glue residue left behind when removed properly. Static Nails’ Non-Damaging Glue gives you the luxury of choosing your own wear time. The amount applied determines how long the nails will stay on, for example, a day, a week, up to 18 days and everything in-between. As long as the nails are not forced removed you will have zero damage or glue residue left over.
DURABLE? Yes! With a weeks+ worth of glue (a pea-sized dot) and proper application you can garden, do laundry, change a tire, style hair, shower (yes, they stay on in water)… Whatever you need to do, Static Nails will stay on through. The adhesive and backup nails can always be brought along in case of an emergency.
MAGIC GLUE? Pretty much. It’s our own formula which bonds like an acrylic but dissolves as you wear it. The more glue, the longer the nails stay on. After a few days, the glue starts to break down leaving no damage or glue residue.

NAILS WON’T STAY ON: We promise, more glue will fix the issue. Please read the instructions before applying to help ensure you’re applying enough glue for your desired wear time. If you did read them and are still having issues please try these tips:
- In case you have more oily nail beds, gently buff your nail and swipe a little nail polish remover to each nail before applying to generate extra grip.
- Still add more glue, a pea-sized dot to me could mean something else to you. Add a dot about this big ( ) to each nail (more on the thumb), and a tiny bit to the back of the Static nail. Let tack up for 6 seconds before applying.
- The longer and harder you hold the better. Hold down each nail with your thumb, ensuring it’s covering the ENTIRE surface of your nail. If an area doesn’t receive pressure, air pockets will form causing the nail to come off early or inconsistently. Hold for 30+ seconds.
NAILS WON’T COME OFF: Never force remove the nails. Doing so could leave minor, but fixable damage (see Glue Residue section for instructions on how to repair and restore). The only time nails are difficult to remove is when they are being removed prematurely. This means they are being forcibly removed on purpose or over gluing occurred during the application. Over gluing can be accidental, it just means the amount of glue applied will keep the nails on longer than you originally intended. In either case, we recommend keeping the nails on for a few more days before attempting to properly remove again. If nail length is the reason you want to remove the nails sooner due to work or personal preferences, Static nails can be clipped and filed to reach your desired length in seconds.
SOME NAILS POPPED OFF: No reason to stress <3 If nails are coming off before others it is because the glue application to each nail was not consistent. Simply add more glue to your natural nail, a bit to the back of the Static nail then re-apply. Be sure to review the How To Apply Section to ensure the application process is being done correctly. *If you are rough on your hands/nails opt for the longer wear glue application initially over short wear.
GLUE RESIDUE: If your Static nail has glue build up from where your natural nail tip was, simply use a cuticle or nail clipper to clip it off – and done! You can also use something stiff to push it off. Build up is caused from over-gluing which is totally okay. If you have a little glue residue on your natural nail, simply use the blue, followed by the pink, side of the buffer included to remove and restore. This only happens if the nail was forced off on accident, air pockets occurred during application from lack of pressure/coverage of the entire nail, or from premature removal and is fixable with the above instructions. Taking care of your nails, in general, is important. Applying a cuticle oil over the entire nail followed by some hand lotion will keep your nails healthy regardless if you’re wearing Static nails or not. Doing so will also repair them faster if recovering from forced removal.

CUSTOMIZATION FAQ (POP-ON NAILS)
PAINTING: Unless otherwise stated, only gel-effect Reusable Pop-On Manicures can be painted with polish or gel. Painting the nails with polish will not damage the original design when removed with non-acetone nail polish remover only. Gel can also be used to customize Static Nails, but cannot be removed. Using a clear cured gel top coat is a great way to make the original design last longer, especially after it’s been reshaped.

Painting special effect nails such as matte or chrome with nail polish will cause the original effect to fade, turning the nail into a blank canvas to then customize. To remove the matte-effect slather nail polish over the pop-on nails, let them sit for a few minutes (it will look like it’s turning into leather effect) then use non-acetone nail polish remover to rub off the original finish.
RESHAPING: Easily transform the shape of your Static nails with a clipper or a file. Nail clippers are great to dramatically cut down the length. Files are great for minor touch-ups or reshaping. Reshaping breaks the protective coating, which helps the design last longer. Reshaping will eventually cause very minor fading at the tip of the nail. This is not easily noticeable and can be touched up every 5 days or so with the file included. *Tip: Cure with clear gel top coat to lock in design after reshaping.
Ex: Make a stiletto nail coffin or square with one clip using a nail clipper.

RETURNS: Due to sanitary purposes, items are non-refundable.
DEFECTS: Please email [email protected] your order # and a clear photo of the defective merchandise within 48 hours of receiving your package so we can make this situation right. NOTE: Static Nails has extremely high-quality control standards. Each set is checked 1-3x before it ships to help avoid these issues.

GENERAL INFORMATION: Orders containing in-stock merchandise usually ship same day when placed before 2pm PST Monday – Thursday and before 12pm PST on Fridays. Otherwise, orders may take 1-2 business days to fulfill. Orders are fulfilled in the order they are placed. Please note orders placed during holiday seasons may take longer to fulfill, however we pride ourselves on getting orders out quickly and take measures to do so during peak times to help avoid extra delays.
LOST PACKAGE: Static Nails is not responsible or obligated to replace or refund packages delivered to the address provided at checkout. If a package is marked “Delivered,” please first check your order to ensure the shipping address provided was correct. If the address provided was correct, contact the local post office responsible for delivering the package (found on the tracking page). After describing the situation and providing tracking, they will be able to assist you in recovering your package.
RETURN TO SENDER: Immediately contact the carrier if your tracking information says an attempt to deliver was made, or is undeliverable and being returned to sender. Typically this means there is an error in the shipping address provided, or the carrier was unable to drop off your package and needs your assistance. If they are unable to redeliver your package, please contact [email protected] with the issue, order number, and/or correct shipping address immediately. Packages returned due to an incorrect shipping address or refusal without having contacted us prior will be refunded less shipping and receiving costs.
