skin tags

Skin Tags

Lamprobe can easily remove these pesky little lesions! Whether you want them removed for aesthetic reasons or if they are causing you irritation or discomfort, this method can permanently remove Skin Tags.

Cholesterol Deposits

Are there large, hard, white clusters around your eyes?  Formally known as xanthelasma, cholesterol deposits under the eyes can develop when you have high levels of triglycerides in your bloodstream or high cholesterol in general. The cholesterol causes small, yellowish bumps to form on the inside corners of the eyelids.  Although they are not a health problem, cholesterol deposits can be embarrassing and can act as a visual signal of a potential issue, such as high triglycerides or pre-diabetes. Since the growths can get larger over time, many people prefer to treat the deposits sooner rather than later.

Lamprobe effectively removes the cholesterol deposits without the risks or side effects of other treatment methods such as scarring.

So, whether it’s Skin Tags or some other small skin annoyance that you’re battling, the chances are that Lamprobe may be able to help!

Fibromas

Dermatofibromas are small, harmless growths that appear on the skin. These growths, called nodules, can grow anywhere on the body but are most common on the arms, lower legs, and upper back.

Dermatofibromas are seen in adults but are rare in children. They are more frequent in women than in men and are more common in people with compromised immune systems.

Keratoses

Seborrheic keratosis is a common, harmless, noncancerous growth on the skin. It usually appears as a pale, black, or brown growth on the back, shoulders, chest, or face.

The plural of keratosis is keratoses. Seborrheic keratoses are also known as basal cell papilloma, or seborrheic warts.

Seborrheic keratoses tend to appear from middle-age onwards. Some individuals may have just one, but normally there will be several. Seborrheic keratosis is not contagious.

Thirty percent of people have at least one by the age of 40 years, affecting over 75 percent of people by the age of 70 years.

They are not painful, but they may itch or become irritated. There are four dimensions to consider when describing seborrheic keratosis:

  • Location: The growths are most commonly found on the scalp, shoulder, chest, abdomen, or back. They are never found on the soles of the feet or palms of the hands.
  • Texture: Lesions usually start as small, rough bumps, and they gradually get thicker and develop a warty surface. They can sometimes appear waxy and “stuck on.”
  • Shape: They are usually round or oval.
  • Color: Most are brown, but they can be yellow, black, or white.

The lesions are rarely painful, but they can be annoying, depending on their position. It is important not to pick or scratch them, leading to bleeding, swelling, and, potentially, infection.

Broken Capillaries

Sometimes called spider veins, broken capillaries can be especially unsightly on the nose and face.  Appearing like a small web-like mapping of veins, broken capillaries are burst vessels towards the surface of your skin that can’t heal, therefore leaving an unsightly mark. The Lamprobe treatment helps by sealing and collapsing these small vessels until they disappear. Sometimes several treatments is required for this type of irregularity. And aftercare is very important with this type of irregularity. No pressure and wetness  on the area for first several days will help to have the best results. It is the most stubborn irregularity to get rid off.

Milia

If you have small white bumps on your face, especially around your eyes or forehead, you may be suffering from milia.  These “whiteheads” develop when keratin, or dead skin cells, become trapped beneath the skin.

Most methods to remove milia focus on dissolving the dead skin cells that form a protective barrier over the pore.  This barrier traps the dead skin inside and causes a hard, white bump.  Lamprobe is very effective in treating milia because it treats through this barrier to help dry up the lesion and cause it to flake away over a few days.

Clogged Pores

Tired of a never-ending battle with deeply clogged pores or blackheads?  Lamprobe can treat congested pores that have not responded to other treatments like chemical peels or manual extractions.

Cherry Angiomas

NON-INVASIVE WITH MINIMUM DISCOMFORT

The discomfort level experienced by the client is tolerable, with the sensation produced feeling much like a tight pinch to the skin. Lamprobe can comfortably treat sensitive skins, thin skins, and aging skins, and intensity settings can adjust easily. No anesthesia is required.
