IS TEETH WHITENING SAFE?

You’ve probably heard whitening treatments damage your enamel; however, this isn’t true. When the manufacturer’s guidelines are followed and under the care of a trained professional, whitening treatments are safe and won’t damage your enamel.

DOES WHITENING TREATMENTS CAUSE TOOTH SENSITIVITY?

Whitening gels are specially formulated to minimize tooth sensitivity. If there is any discomfort caused by the treatment, it will subside within a day or two. You shouldn’t be concerned about permanent sensitivity if it wasn’t an issue for you before the procedure.

WHAT ARE THE EXPECTED RESULTS?

Our Professional Teeth Whitening system- in less than an hour will make your smile 2-10 shades brighter! We have been getting amazing results and testimonials from clients so far!!!

For this particular client, it went from roughly S-14 to S-10! 4 shades up!

We have levels I-III of intensity per treatment available. Level II and III is recommended if you have not had whitening in the past year. Level I is great as touch up and additional service every 6 months.

HOW LONG WILL MY RESULTS LAST?

Your results can last for several years with the right care, like maintaining your oral hygiene and visiting your dentist at least twice a year for a cleaning and checkup. It’s best to limit your consumption of stain-causing foods and drinks, like coffee, berries, or tea. You’ll want to brush your teeth well after you’ve finished eating or drinking anything that’s darkly pigmented. If you can’t get to your toothbrush, rinse your mouth with water. It’s also best to avoid smoking and tobacco to prevent stubborn stains.

If you feel that your teeth have yellowed over time, it is okay to do touch-up bleaching 1-2 applications every 4-6-12 months as needed.  Please see more after-care instructions.

DOES HYDROGEN PEROXIDE WHITEN TEETH?

Yes, hydrogen peroxide does whiten teeth and is one of the main chemicals used in professional teeth whitening.

However, using it as part of a professional whitening kit is different to using it as part of a DIY whitening recipe, or in a kit you’ve bought online or in the shops.

HYDROGEN PEROXIDE VS CARBAMIDE PEROXIDE: WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE?

Hydrogen peroxide is roughly 3.5 times stronger than carbamide peroxide. We use professional 16% Hydrogen Peroxide gel by Beaming White, made in the USA.

Teeth whitening products use bleaches, we use  hydrogen peroxide 16% plus LED light technology to activate the gel to break stains into smaller pieces, which make them harder to see and make your teeth brighter. These bleaches do not work on all teeth, so it is important to consult your dentist before any treatment. Whitening will not likely be effective on caps, veneers, crowns, fillings or if the color is caused by medications or injury.
We choose to use 16% solution since higher solutions has shown to possibly cause the softening of the enamel while garnering similar results in whitening end result when done correctly.

Testimonials

Great experience here! Definitely book in advance, the Brilliant staff was great for an anniversary massage ($100 for 60 minutes) and a dual facial ($95 for 60 minutes) worth every penny especially for my first time. Rebekah and Jolita almost made us fall asleep it was so relaxing. Nice quaint space, and they are very clean and safe inside while wearing proper face coverings so you don’t have to and can enjoy your stay.

Incredible bed-side manner! Clean, relaxing and effective quality of service. I have continued to go because it is not just a facial, it is an educational journey to better understand my skin and my desired state. They are so knowledgeable and friendly! Thanks for the outstanding service.
