While walking, take a turn onto the storybook trail featuring local children’s book author Kate Messner’s beloved “Up in the Garden and Down in the Dirt,” an exuberant and lyrical tale which shows the wonders that lie hidden between growing vegetables and flowers. . . and down in the dirt.
