Scrubs

Mix Coarse Sea Salt or Sugar with Oil at a 2:1 ratio for a simple basic scrub recipe.

For example, mix 1 cup Salt with 1/4 cup Coconut Oil and 1/4 cup Vitamin E oil; if you are only using one kind of oil, mix 1/2 cup Oil with 1 cup Salt or Sugar.

Then add 3-4 drops of Essential Oils and stir it up. Adding one or two capsules of vitamin E oil will preserve your product longer. Store your scrubs in a sterilized glass or plastic container. You can even put some in small jars for gifts or retail.

Foot Soaks

An easy way to do a Foot Soak is to use store-bought mineral bath salts, bath fizzes, teabags, or natural bath foam.

Some fun extras are

  • smooth stones on the bottom of the bowl
  • flower petals or flower tops
  • fresh herbs, lemon or orange slices
  • a warm neck wrap and warm hand mitts while

Another tip is to combine a foot soak with a foot scrub. Just have your client soak for ten minutes, then scrub their feet while sitting in a comfortable chair. Then you can rinse their feet in the foot soaking water, dry them and have them move to the massage table.

1 cup milk (keep powdered milk on hand, not fat-free)
