A Quick Morning Skincare Routine

smiling girl with towel wrap on her head and applying cream on her face: text: quick morning skincare routine We all know how busy mornings can be, and as a mom, it’s not just you that has to be morning-ready. It’s small people too. It would be best if you had a quick and straightforward morning wake-up and makeup routine to carry you through the day. And we have one quick morning skincare routine for you.

Start with the night before. When you fall exhausted into your bed, don’t forget to take off today’s makeup, even if a few short minutes is all you’ve got. Freshly cleansed skin in the evening and then again in the morning will give you a head start and make you feel like you’re on top of things even when you aren’t! Keeping your skin cleansed also prepares it for your next skincare steps and ensures that other products like moisturizers will work better.

Skincare For Different Skin Types

If your skin is oily, you probably only need to cleanse before bed, but other skin types should also remember moisturizer. Look for a night cream that suits your skin type, so if you have dry skin, use something nourishing to add moisture. Moms with normal, combination or sensitive skin types are better at using a hydrating but non-greasy product to avoid excessive shine or breakouts. Ask your esthetician for advice if you’re unsure.

In a rush first thing? A cleansing wipe first thing in the morning will get you through, or a two-in-one cleanser and toner, although ideally, a good quality cleanser is best if you have time. A quick swipe and you’re ready to moisturize.

In the morning, use a moisturizer with a good SPF. Moisturizing is the most important finishing touch to any pre-makeup and daily skincare routine. It’s an essential step in your daily routine that you mustn’t miss, as not only does it will help protect your skin from losing moisture and protects from damaging UVA (if you choose a good quality moisturizer with SPF).

Quick Makeup Tip for Busy School Days

Once your face is moisturized and ready to go, you can choose whether to put on makeup or not. Some fantastic options are available for moms in a hurry, from skincare counters and clinics that take all of the hassles out of appearing smooth and youthful. All-in-one tinted moisturizer, BB, and CC creams are a great invention that can do what the three products promised with one pump. Tinted moisturizers are pretty self-explanatory, while a BB cream is a light foundation that usually contains a hint of a tint with extra benefits such as SPF or anti-oxidant. CC creams are very similar, but the CC stands for ‘color correcting,’ so these are useful if you have pigmentation or blemishes you’d like to quickly even out. Add a quick swipe of your favorite mascara, and you’re good to go.

There’s no need to spend hours on your school run look anymore. Clean, fresh, and SPF protected is all you need with the helpful skincare products on the market for busy moms and students!

But it would be best if you could schedule a regular facial with a licensed esthetician to care for your skin.
