Great Stretches To Help Sciatica Pain

I have a lot of clients who experience sciatica pain. It can be from mild pain to debilitating “stop you in your tracks” pain. Where people have to take time off work and take on a serious physical therapy, massage, acupuncture and even shots routine to heal the muscles spasms and pain. However I have heard in many cases that massage and physical therapy are the best remedy and multiple cortisone shots in some extreme cases are the most helpful for sciatica pain. It is not something to be taken lightly. So if you have sciatica type of pain starting taking care of it as early as the tightness and tension occurs in that glute and hamstring area. Stretches is one of the great ways to prevent that little sciatica monster from developing into a big giant monster that affects your life.

Sciatica Nerve Pain
Sciatica is often characterized by one or more of the following symptoms:

Constant pain in only one side of the buttock or leg (rarely in both legs)
Pain that is worse when sitting
Leg pain that is often described as burning, tingling, or searing (versus a dull ache)
Weakness, numbness, or difficulty moving the leg, foot, and/or toes
A sharp pain that may make it difficult to stand up or walk
Pain that radiates down the leg and possibly into the foot and toes (it rarely occurs only in the foot)
Sciatic pain can vary from infrequent and irritating to constant and incapacitating. Symptoms are usually based on the location of the pinched nerve.
