IS TEETH WHITENING SAFE?

You’ve probably heard whitening treatments damage your enamel; however, this isn’t true. When the manufacturer’s guidelines are followed and under the care of a trained professional, whitening treatments are safe and won’t damage your enamel.

DOES WHITENING TREATMENTS CAUSE TOOTH SENSITIVITY?

Whitening gels are specially formulated to minimize tooth sensitivity. If there is any discomfort caused by the treatment, it will subside within a day or two. You shouldn’t be concerned about permanent sensitivity if it wasn’t an issue for you before the procedure.

What Are The Expected Results?

Our Professional Teeth Whitening system- in less than an hour will make your smile 2-10 shades brighter! We have been getting amazing results and testimonials from clients so far!!!

For this particular client it went form roughly S-14 to S-10! 4 shades up!

We have have levels 1-3 of intensity per treatment available. Express touch up service to most effective level III.

Our clients see 2-7 shades whiter teeth after one treatment.

You can also add hand of feet massage while your teeth is being whitened! Aaaaahmazing!

HOW LONG WILL MY RESULTS LAST?

Your results can last for several years with the right care, like maintaining your oral hygiene and visiting your dentist at least twice a year for a cleaning and checkup. It’s best to limit your consumption of stain-causing foods and drinks, like coffee, berries, or tea. You’ll want to brush your teeth well after you’ve finished eating or drinking anything that’s darkly pigmented. If you can’t get to your toothbrush, rinse your mouth with water. It’s also best to avoid smoking and tobacco to prevent stubborn stains.

If you feel that your teeth have yellowed over time based on lifestyle factors, it is okay to do touch-up bleaching 1-2 level applications every 4-6-12 months as needed.  Please see more after care instructions here: BW-After-Care Instructions

CAN I USE MY DENTAL INSURANCE?

It is rare for a dental policy to cover whitening treatments because they are elective procedures.

Does hydrogen peroxide whiten teeth?

Yes, hydrogen peroxide does whiten teeth and is one of the main chemicals used in professional teeth whitening, med spas and dental offices.

However, using it as part of a professional whitening kit is different to using it as part of a DIY whitening recipe, or in a kit you’ve bought online or in the shops.

Hydrogen Peroxide vs Carbamide Peroxide: what’s the difference?

Hydrogen peroxide is roughly 3.5 times stronger than carbamide peroxide thus making treatment faster. We use professional 16% Hydrogen Peroxide gel by Beaming White, made in the USA.

Is hydrogen peroxide a bleach?

Technically no.  Hydrogen peroxide is H202 whereas the bleach is a basic solution of NaOCl.

Most of us associate bleach with cleaning.  This is usually a dilute solution of sodium hypochlorite.

Both can essentially do the same job, but hydrogen peroxide is a better product for humans and the environment.

Hydrogen peroxide breaks down into oxygen and water and occurs in nature as part of animal and plant cells.

Traditional bleaches have the ability to form more toxic byproducts.

Before Your Treatment We Will Also Have You Agree To The Teeth Whitening Consent Form:

CONSENT FORM – DENTAL

Disclaimer: Teeth whitening products use bleaches (we use either hydrogen peroxide 16% or carbamide peroxide) plus LED technology to activate the gel to break stains into smaller pieces, which make them harder to see and make your teeth brighter. These bleaches do not work on all teeth, so it is important to consult your dentist before any treatment. Whitening will not be effective on caps, veneers, crowns, fillings or if the color is caused by medications or injury.
We choose to use 16% solution since higher solutions has shown to possibly cause the softening of the enamel while garnering similar results in whitening end result when done correctly.

If you have Sensitive Teeth we recommend purchasing Mineral Enamel Booster to apply right after your teeth whitening session:
